Welcome to bedashed.com, a place for you to love your God, daily. It is our belief that you will be "blessed" by spending regular time with God - praising him, keeping a prayer journal and reading the bible.

The word "bedashed" is an old English word that means, "being splattered upon by water or liquid". We translate this to be "blessed". This site is intended to encourage you in your Christian walk, for you to spend time with God and for God to spend time with you. We know that this daily activity will bless you. God loves to have that time with you, for you to praise and thank Him in whatever is going on in your life and for you to share your needs and desires of your heart.

"Be cheerful no matter what, pray all the time, thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Why pray to God? The simple answer is that Jesus did. After a busy day of healing and preaching, Jesus longed to have time with God, to be refreshed after a long day of ministry. Jesus needed it to get renewed, to stay focused and connected.

Like Jesus, most of us have busy lives with work, family and play. Jesus shows us the way to get us through these days, to be dependent on our God and the need for time with Him. This is why Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment." (Mathew 22:37-40) He knows we need it!

You can spend time with God in 3 distinct ways. First, give Him thanks by writing a simple message of praise. Tell Him how you feel, how majestic He is and what He is doing for you. Second, journal your thoughts and prayers and keep track of them. You will be able to see God at work in your personal online prayer journal, see how He responds to your questions and concerns, knowing He is God! And thirdly, read the Bible. His word is the foundation for a relationship with Him.
